Epicenter is a literary management and production company specializing in character-driven storytelling. We are dedicated to discovering and championing emerging creative voices capable of breaking through an increasingly crowded marketplace.

Founded in 2012 with a small roster of talented and diverse clients, Epicenter has since grown into a premier destination for compelling material across all genres and audiences. We excel at identifying new talent and shaping raw, underserved voices, and our clients have secured feature film opportunities as well as staffing roles on series such as Sugar, Preacher, Vought Rising, From, Devil in Disguise, Kay Scarpetta, and Fire Country. Our clients have also sold projects to CBS, FOX, HBO, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, Peacock, and Paramount+.

Recent standout successes include Steven Canals, creator of the Emmy-, Golden Globe-, and Peabody-winning FX series Pose; Will Berson, Oscar-nominated co-screenwriter of Judas and the Black Messiah; and Brigitte Hales, writer of Disenchanted, which premiered on Disney+ in fall 2022; and Sam Stefanak, writer of The Woman in the Yard, which was released by Universal in March 2025.

Epicenter also produced the low-budget thriller 1BR, which reached #1 on Netflix, remained in the platform’s Top 10 for several weeks, and was featured on numerous “Best Horror Films of 2020” lists.
